This is the company in the group that carries out tasks such as Regulatory Affairs, Market Research and, above all, Promotion of our laboratories’ pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacies, hospitals and government institutions.
Its headquarters are located in Barcelona (Spain) and it has subsidiaries (Mefasa) in the seven countries of Central America and the Dominican Republic.

Profármaco, S.A. draws up sales plans in collaboration with the marketing departments of the laboratories it works with. It also selects, hires, trains, motivates, manages and controls separate sales rep teams for each country, manages and controls local distribution through its own subsidiaries and/or third-party distributors, and also proposes and sets local sales prices, manages and controls promotion and sales and, in general, safeguards the global interests of the laboratories it represents on each market.
Furthermore, Profármaco, S.A. has a growing licensed product portfolio for promotion and distribution in the Central American and Caribbean region, under its own pharmaceutical line called Mefasa Farma.
